Prior to dental school, Christian worked as an analytical business chemist. During this time, he also attended Manchester Metropolitan University reading Chemistry before committing two years as a full time charity worker in Scotland.
Dental life started at the University of Liverpool where Christian excelled, achieving a number of awards including the Thomas H Bickerton Prize two years running for outstanding performance in basic medical sciences. Christian graduated with a distinction in oral health – paedodontics and orthodontics.
Since dental school, Christian has recognised the importance of keeping at the cutting edge of dentistry. He has taken part one of the MJDF exam and obtained his Post Graduate Diploma in Endodontics from the University of Chester, amongst a host of other post graduate courses. He has developed an innovative, forward thinking and progressive style of dentistry, concentrating on providing minimally invasive dental care with a focus on preventative dentistry. Christian is currently running a research project that could help increase the success rate of endodontic treatment (root canal).
Since graduation, Christian has nurtured and developed his interest in non-surgical facial aesthetics. He has treated thousands of patients with botulinum toxin and dermal fillers and has run a successful business for many years. He currently holds posts as a Post Graduate Lecturer and Post Graduate Mentor in non-surgical facial aesthetics at the University of Salford as a Level 7 educator and trainer.
Christian maintains a firm commitment to charity work and spends a lot of time organising and singing in national choirs, organising activities and projects for local youth and directing local children’s choirs.
