Achillefs was born and raised in a small city in Greece and qualified from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2010.
After graduation he went on to do his National Service as a dentist in the Greek Army and in 2012 moved to the UK where he has worked for the NHS and private practices around North West and Yorkshire.
Achillefs has always looked to improve his knowledge through post graduate education, including a four year Course in Master of Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics (Crowns, Bridges and Dentures) from King’s College London. Doing such a demanding course has given him the experience to deal with more complex cases such as full mouth restorations, smile makeovers and severe tooth surface loss cases using minimally invasive techniques. His final year thesis explored the precision and accuracy of the digital shade matching methods compared with the traditional visual shade matching technique.
In order to provide his patients with more treatment options he has also completed a one year post graduate certificate in Dental Implantology at the University of Manchester that gave him the experience in planning and restoring implant cases.
Achillefs is also a member of the British Society of Prosthodontists and always tries to update his knowledge and learn new techniques by doing dental courses around the world. Outside of dentistry he enjoys spending time with his family and playing basketball.
