What are Cerezen devices?
Cerezen is a pioneering medical treatment that treats TMD (Temporomandibular Disorders) and associated symptoms such as Jaw Pain, Jaw Clenching, Facial Pain and Headaches.
How are Cerezen devices worn?
Cerezen devices are discreet, clinically effective, custom-made hollow inserts which are worn in your ears and which provide relief from TMD symptoms.
What is TMD?
Temporomandibular Disorders Explained…
The Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) attaches the lower jaw to the skull and allows you to move your jaw in a range of motions to speak, chew, laugh etc. If the TMJ is compromised in any way then it can lead to TMD (Temporomandibular Disorders).
How can Cerezen devices provide relief from TMD?
Your ear canals are located close to the Temporomandibular Joint. Jaw movement affects ear canal volume. Whilst wearing your Cerezen devices, every time your jaw moves, a subtle pressure is applied by the wearing of the devices against the walls of your ear canals, creating an awareness of jaw actions which contribute to TMD. The Cerezen devices effectively encourage the jaw to return to a relaxed position and provide TMD symptom relief.
